Perform service/repair-related activities on equipment associated with heating, ventilation and air-conditioning of commercial buildings. This includes general preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, warranty work, service calls, emergency service, time/material work, service retrofit projects, and while providing quality customer assurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform service and repair work on commercial heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair of HVAC components and parts.
- Promote North American Mechanical, Inc., services to customers via ongoing customer interactions, communications, assurance and support.
- Prepare pertinent information/ written documentation for invoice processing by the office personnel including work reports, time spent on job and parts used.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction and new customer development in dealing with the services offered by NAMI Service Department.
- Build and maintain solid professional working relations with clients, vendors, outside professionals, and all others contacted on behalf of the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Full understanding of HVAC systems, operation and maintenance requirements. Minimum of an Associates Degree in HVAC and/or 3 years experience in HVAC mechanical service and EPA certified in refrigerant recovery required.
- This position requires the ability to stand, sit, squat, stoop and kneel.
- Considerable walking, standing, bending, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing arms, wrist, hands and fingers, turning torso and head may also be required.
- Must be able to maneuver and climb ladders.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
